On the beach, Chastity smiled, fixing her sun hat and slipping off her sandals. There was nothing more heart warming than a sunny day at the beach. The blonde loved everything about it. The warm sea air, the way the waves rolled just right off of the shore. If she was a writer, she would come here every day simply to enjoy it. But as a performer, she would love to stand on the tallest dune of sand and sing.
But she didn't own the place, and Clement would just die if she embarrassed them like that. The girl giggled, looking over at her twin and grinning. He brought her here just to humor her didn't he? well, Chastity Genevieve wouldn't complain about that. "Come on Token, don't be so worrisome. Some sand between your toes will do you some good." Chastity smiled, holding in a laugh as the little ferret popped out of the front of her jacket. He looked up at his alter and smiled a bit, nuzzling her before coyly wrapping himself around her neck.
He hated the beach. Too open and much too dangerous for a little ferret to wander around. He much preferred being on his alter's shoulder. At least, he didn't get cold here. His white fur more than comfortable against the sun's rays. "Genevieve, can't I just ride on your shoulder like usual?" He asked, and the girl smiled before gently shrugging. Tie-ing her scarf around her neck just right, she made sure that her daemon was comfortable for their day at the beach.
Maybe she could coax Clement into riding the ferry today.

The beach. Why the beach? His mother had demanded he take time off from his job at the restaurant and sent him off to the beach. His ivory skin almost glowed in the sun's rays, his golden locks matching the shaded sands and his black roots glistening. The silver band around his nose reflected the sunlight into his light green eyes, lining with black.
"I'll race ya, Umasi!" he called, a grin on his face as he leaned froward slightly and bolted off, the sand hot beneath his bare feet. His silver and black doe looked annoyed behind him. He smirked, racing ahead, not paying attention to where he was going, but looking back at the doe. He loved the beach. He didn't much enjoy the heat, just the beauty of the landscape and the fun of the water. It did feel nice to take a break from work.
"Isa! We're much to mature for this!" she complained, easily bounding after him, her back almost even with his shoulder. She hated the beach, it was too happy for her and Isa always made it worse.

'I suppose' 'A day at the beach ' Clarence yawned, the sun beating down on him made him drowsy but it was still beautiful. He smiled sweetly at Chasity, she seemed so happy being at the beach. Maybe it was because the beach scene was so pretty, or simply because it was a nice day.
Question seemed to be perched on his shoulder with a bit more caution that usually. Though you would never be able to tell by looking at the owl's stoic expression.
"What's the matter Question, too much sun for you?" He chuckled, knowing that the owl was probably being tortured, mostly because it was the middle of the day, and it was difficult for the bird to see in such light.
The owl just sat their, then its head suddenly twitched, looking in the opposite direction in anger. It's talons tightened on his shoulder in spite. Then flew off and perched on Chasity's head.
Clement fell backwards, laying contently on the soft sand. He looked up at Chasity with a large grin, "Nice hat," he said sarcastically. It was pretty but to him it just looked like an oversized bowl with a ribbon tied around it. 'Would do anyone some good.'

Who doesn't enjoy a day at the beach~ Chastity looked over at her brother, a little pang of sympathy for the old bird. He was such a quiet fellow, and looked like he could simply melt in the sun. She had to admit, his face was a bit... unnerving. As a child the animal had easily given her nightmares. But now? He was a part of the family. Even though he put himself in a tizzy when out during the day. He perched on her head and the blonde smiled, lightly petting his soft white feathers. "That's alright dear, we'll find some shade for you in a bit." She said, laughing softly before hopping over her beaching brother.
"Well it had better be, you got it for me as a gift last spring." She said with a sickeningly sweet tone and smile to match. Figures he didn't remember. He stuffed it with eggs for her on Easter. Maybe... he thought it was a basket? It was probably one of those sleepless author nights of his, he could mistake a cat for a cow if he missed more than a few days at a time. She simply got giddy staying up with him, thriving on coffee and destroying her immune system. No wonder she had the flu after attending the ball.
Token hated the owl. Although he did his best to hide his fear and talk to the honestly sweet creature... it scared him when he was flying. So when he flew over to Chastity's head, the weasle was on the ground in an instant, curling onto Clement's stomach. "Chastity wants to take a ferry today." He said, trembling a bit at the thought of being in the water. That was simply awful to think about, considering he couldn't swim. "Can we just go home instead, pretty please?" He whispered, hoping that the other blonde didn't hear him.

'I suppose' 'A day at the beach '
Clarence inhaled quietly, the ocean was so calming. Though his thoughts went blank when she said she had recieved the hat from him.
Though he eventually remember picking up the large sunhat for her just a bit before Easter. "Well yes, but I didn't expect you to wear it in public." He snickered. Clement felt small, meaty claws on his stomach and tilted his head upwards, staring at what he knew already was Token.
"The ferry?" He sighed, looking over at the water, "Sounds fun actually," He laughed, placing a finger and stroking the weasel's small head.
"Afraid of a little bit of water?" He asked, feeling a bit sorry for the small creature. Who knows what crazy kinds of things that Chasity had gotten Token into. Or maybe it was just that rodents and small creatures didn't enjoy all the water surrounding ships and boats.
Question abruptly opened its beak, screeching into the calm ocean air with a wild, sharp look of agony on it's face.
Clarence rolled his eyes, annoyed at the owl. "Yeah, it's warm and bright, you'll live," he sighed, continuing to pet Chasity's alter. He loved his bird to death, but he honestly had a soft spot for the small weasel.
'Would do anyone some good.'

Who doesn't enjoy a day at the beach~ Chastity pouted, crossing her arms in her tizzy. Well she thought it was cute, and why would he buy it if he didn't want her to wear it. At that, a smirk crept onto her features, irony lifting her spirits and pulling her out of a short lived tantrum. Ah well, Clement would always be that way, her lovable twin with a poor taste in fashion. "I'll remember that. Just wait until Christmas rolls around." She said, sticking her tongue out and grinning. "It'll be all plaid and feathers and pink paired with brown and puke purple." She threatened, giggling toward the end. Puke purple was that sickly purple that was mixed with a good amount of green... she abhorred it greatly. Tilting her head, Chastity put her arm up for Question to perch on. "Clement doesn't like my hat, but you will." She said, smiling. "Come on, here's your shade old boy."
Token sniffed, why did they have to like the same things? No matter how different they acted they both liked boats and beaches and places and things that were all around not safe. His bottom lip quivered, succumbing to the fact that sooner than later he would be on a boat, rocking back and forth, staring down at the ocean where sharks and fish and evil things with stinging barbs were just waiting for him to fall overboard.
Maybe he had a better chance if he stayed near Clement. The boy got into less trouble than his sister. And although he wasn't his alter he was just as close to the weasel's heart as anyone else. He purred slightly at the feeling of being petted, licking his fingers when they got close enough to his face. "Promise I won't end up going overboard? Chastity said there were hungry s-s-s-sharks out there." He said with a stutter, shivering at the chance he could be something elses meal. It worried him greatly, the chance that he could be eaten. It had taken forever for him to realize Question wasn't going to eat him... and that had been Chastity's fault as well.

'I suppose' 'A day at the beach '
Clement closed his eyes, putting together a picture. A tilted brown hat, with lavander and salmon striking around it, making it plaid. White accents of frills, with pearl beads lining it. A few large feathers by the side made with the main colors of the hat, making it look more ornate.
He smiled up at Chasity with a small sparkle in his eyes. "That'd be a wonderful gift, I'll be waiting then."
Question was thankful for the large 'bowl' and closed his slanted eyes, happy for the shade. But he suddenly snapped his head around, frustrated at the girl.
"I am...not old, you small, overly happy young woman." He whispered, only loud enough for her to hear.
Clarence smiled, thinking of riding the ferry. He loved riding on boats, though when he was younger he got seasick.
One day, he wanted to organize something to have Chasity perform on a ship. It would be wonderful to have a show while at sea, not to mention that his sister's voice was relaxing added to the beauty and depth of her tone.
Clement's head tilted, looking at Token with sad eyes. He could easily feel sympathy for small things that no one ever though of.
"Sharks?" He asked, unsure of where he had got the idea that anyone would be cruel enought to throw the critter off of a boat.
"If Geneivive told you that, it's okay, you'll be perfectly safe," He laughed, reassuingly. 'Would do anyone some good.'

Who doesn't enjoy a day at the beach~ Chastity held in a snort, giggling at her brother. Of course, the fashionista in him would find a way to put together something out of what she had threatened with. Sometimes she wondered if his clever imagination ever tired of being one step ahead of her own. It must have come with writing all the time.
She was glad that Question liked her hat, smiling as the bird all but disappeared underneath it. "I am...not old, you small, overly happy young woman." Chastity blinked, sometimes she forgot that the owl could talk just as well as her Token could. And he looked old, all owls did. They looked like they lived for ages and ages, far longer than people. But she wouldn't further his anger, not wanting to hear him hiss again. Question had always un nerved her some. "No need to ruffle your feathers Question, you'll start molting early." She grinned, that didn't seem like she was avoiding angering the owl. Ah well, what could you do.
The girl switched gears, looking over at her brother and weasel. Oh dear, sharks? When had she... oh. Biting her tongue, Chastity stopped herself from giggling at the little animal. Token sniffled, looking up at Clement with his beady little eyes. "Are you sure? Because if I end up lunch th-then Chastity..." He stopped, not wanting to imagine his other dying because of his clumsiness. To think, he had been just as worried about her as he feared for himself.
Guilt replaced the little gremlin that seemed to command the little blonde's actions. "Aw, that was ages ago Token, you don't still believe that do you?" Chastity asked innocently. She didn't mean to torment her alter, but the little fellow was so gullible that at times she couldn't help it. It was no wonder he second guessed almost everything she said nowadays. But even so she loved him, and would protect her little ferret with her life. "I'll keep you in my arms the whole time if I have to." And she wasn't one to spoil the little thing and carry him everywhere.

'I suppose' 'A day at the beach '
Clarence smiled sweetly at Token, picking it up to stare closer at it's face. "No worries Token, Chasity et l'océan ne sont rien à avoir peur de, particulièrement avec moi autour," He whispered quietly.
Clement put him down so he could scurry off if he wanted to. The weasel was so cute and cuddly, if you sat him by Chasity she seemed like an imp. Though he knew that she was a sweet, happy person. Maybe it was just that the weasle was "fun" to take advantage of, as awful as that sounded.
-
Question simply sat there, uninterested or amused by anything else. The owl's mind sort of seemed to go blank. She was fine though, just tired of everyone probably. Or just too tired to keep up with anything.
In all truth, the owl wanted to dig its talons into her skull and listen to her scream. Then right when her voice cracked, it would open it's large mouth, and dig it's sharp beak into her throat, like captured prey.
Thankfully, Question was rather reserved.
Bright eyes stared over at Chasity, staring innocently into her's. "Chassy?" He said, with the most doe-eyed look he could come up with for the moment.
"Would you buy me ice cream before we take the ferry?" He asked, batting his eyelashed and widening his smile.
'Would do anyone some good.'

Who doesn't enjoy a day at the beach~ Token nodded, extra reassurance from Clement's words. He loved it when the twins spoke in french, it made him feel more at home. He nuzzled the blonde's hand, giving it a last lick before feeling himself be picked up and placed on the sand. He frowned, feeling the substance getting between his toes as fur. Curses for being so close to the ground! Looking up, he thought of climbing onto Chastity's shoulders again, but with Question so close... wide eyes blinked up at the owl that reserved so much... anger. Token sniffled, hopping back on Clement's stomach.
Chastity chuckled. "I see, you like him better now." She said, pretending to snuff the little fellow. Then he had to go make that face, and although she was almost certain that he was staring up at the owl... Chassy? The little woman looked over at her brother, and would have been startled by the sudden switched to his "begging" face... but paired with that nickname she expected nothing less. "Yes Claire darling?" She answered, blinking at him almost innocently; wondering what he wanted all the while.
"Would you buy me ice cream before we take the ferry?" Chastity laughed, shaking her head some. "Sure, it's on me this time. But you have to pay for the tickets." She smiled, leaning down and poking her twin's head as she made her offerdemand. "You stay here Question, lest you want to help me choose the flavors." She said, grinning at the owl. She was so pissy sometimes.
Token smiled, taking his chance to reclaim his spot around Chastity's neck. The weasel climbed up the girl's dress, careful not to scratch her with his little claws. She rarely pointed him out on in, and he was thankful that he didn't have talons... like Question. Who was staring rather blankly perched on Chastity's arm. "I want pecan this time!" He said, nuzzling his alter. Chastity laughed, and then sighed. "Oh, we'll see what they have." She teased, walking toward the ice-cream stand. "You'd better hope puke purple isn't a flavor!"
