That world... it was ours...
Atlantis. Lemuria. Mu. Rutas. These are civilizations you know, and yet, civilizations that you do not know, and never will. Reportedly, all of these continents were lost, along with the mysterious people that lived there. Only remnants, theories and sunken artifacts remain to attest that, yes, at one time, this was a civilization. Some have even cast these civilizations aside, believing them nothing more than fairy tales and navigational errors. But, what if I was to tell you, that there really was a civilization that was swallowed by the sea in one day and one night? What if I told you, even now, that civilization lives on, on the other side of your universe?
Yet our greed was our own downfall.
The Tolsoreans of the island of Tolsore were a greatly advanced people. Few upon the planet of Earth could fathom the true height of their knowledge, knowledge stored within a series of technological books. After creating the substance known as Varisaron, they became greatly prosperous and quickly rose to become a world power. Wanting to learn the secrets of this material, many other civilizations begged them to share their knowledge. But every time, the Tolsoreans refused, believing themselves the only ones the gods had chosen to know the power of Varisaron, and eventually, they closed their doors to outsiders.
Anyone who persisted, the Tolsoreans brutally destroyed using the very power they wished to have. After a time, the Tolsoreans had exhausted the supplies to feed Varisaron, and its light began to die out; hungry to have their godly power back, the Tolsoreans destroyed many a great civilization in search of more supplies, called crystals, to feed it. Still, they found nothing, and began a long chain of destruction in search of crystals to power Varisaron with.
We destroyed it... this bright world that was ours.
But the arrogance of the Tolsoreans instead led to their demise; losing control of Varisaron and its power, Tolsore was swallowed by the sea in the blink of an eye. As a last ditch effort to save themselves, those around them whom mattered the most, the Tolsoreans activated Ragnarok, gathering their civilization and shooting it into the stars. Eventually, the Tolsoreans landed on Edar, a world already populated by creatures they later came to call the Dragons, but over time, that world became home, and the Tolsoreans began anew.
The gods have willed that our people begin again. This world is new, bright.
We should begin again, and never make the same mistakes as we did then.

I dream of a plain of ice. I hear a voice, a resounding voice, roaring into the distance. Now I decide to search, to find it and move onward. Even if I die on this plain of ice.
